Church planting is hard, get out of the grind.
Our Vision:
This track is meant to pour into you as a church planter and care for you relationally, spiritually, and practically. This track will include meaningful time together, soul care, prophetic prayer, engaging worship (that you don’t have to lead), and an afternoon on the water in Miami (Yes, we’re serious!).
Track Overview:
Pre-Conference Session: Faithwalking 101 RetreatMonday, January 7 and Tuesday, January 8
Join us early for an addition spiritual formation course led by the team from Mile High Vineyard. Faithwalking will help you think back to your first formations where you started to hide from the outside world and developed habits of disobedience. Discover what it means to live with more authenticity, integrity, and obedience to Jesus.
Session 1: #RealTalk on Church Planting with Drew Hyun
Wednesday Morning, January 9
We will learn from a planter who has been focused on healthy church planting for years in New York City, Drew Hyun. We are grateful to have him with us as a keynote speaker and friend of the Vineyard. Drew will join us for Q&A on how to care for yourself, your family, and your church plant for the long haul.
Session 2: Church Planter Excursion on the Water
Wednesday Afternoon, January 9
We know church planting is hard. It’s even harder to church plant alone. Who you have around you to support, connect with, and care for you is vitally important to your success as a planter. We want to help church planters join together for an afternoon of fun and sun on Miami beautiful waters. We will be chartering a boat cruise in Miami Bay for all the church planters in attendance. Bring your sunscreen and appetite. This is gonna be fun!
Session 3: Soul Care - Part 1
Thursday Morning, January 10
Led by church planter and spiritual director Jared Boyd, we will be spending the day caring for our souls and attending to our needs. Track attendees will focus on spiritual practices to rest, recharge, and refocus what God is doing in you. Our morning will press into the simple things we need to keep hearing from God for our health as planters.
Session 3: Soul Care - Part 2
Thursday Afternoon, January 10
Led again by church planter and spiritual director Jared Boyd, we will be spending the day focusing on using the tools found in Ignatian spirituality to guide our decision-making processes as church planters. Church planters will leave with a vision for the next step in your journey as a church.
